Child Evangelism Fellowship of Utah

Example content imageFor almost 70 years God has been using Child Evangelism Fellowship to bring the love of Jesus Christ to children around the world. The Word of God puts a high priority on children. They are near to God's heart and we believe that He is uniquely concerned about their spiritual welfare. Without the foundation of a relationship with God and training in Biblical principles for life they are unequipped to face what life will throw at them.

Example content imageWith workers in more than 150 countries around the world CEF has personal, individual ministry with more than 6 million children each year. God has given us a passion to not only bring children into a right relationship with God, but to disciple them in His Word and establish them in Bible teaching churches so that they can become mature in their faith.

Child Evangelism Fellowship of Utah has been doing ministry since 1961, shortly after Child Evangelism Fellowship founder J. Irving Overholtzer made a stop in Salt Lake City to recruit volunteers to begin child evangelism work in the Beehive State. Since 2005 Brady and Angie Snyder have served as state coordinators for CEF of Utah. As state coordinators Brady and Angie recruit, train and otherwise equip volunteers to do the work of Child Evangelism Fellowship in Utah.

Example content imageCEF of Utah has developed partnerships with many local churches to reach public school children in Utah through the after-school Good News Club program. With the help of Utah’s churches CEF of Utah can reach its goal of establishing an after-school Good News Club in every public elementary school in Utah. Brady and Angie are continuing to seek churches that are interested in the Good News Club program.

Example content imageCEF of Utah has a three-fold goal: to evangelize unsaved children, to disciple children that are saved and to get children established in the local church. In 2006 CEF of Utah reached over 2,000 children, teens and adults with the good news about Jesus. With support from churches and individuals in the Body of Christ, Brady and Angie are excited to reach even more children in 2007.
